Halfway Crooks Brewing and Blending

Early in 2017 it was teased that a new brewery was coming to Summerhill as part of the redevelopment of the area around Turner Field. It was recently revealed that former Three Taverns Brewmaster Joran Van Ginderachter, along with partners Shawn Bainbridge and Tim Kilic, will open Halfway Crooks Brewing and Blending at the location. Van Ginderachter and Baindridge shared they are both excited and nervous of the new venture in uncharted territory. However, with the impact Van Ginderachter made during his time at Three Taverns the brewery is sure to be highly anticipated.Taking advantage of the new laws in Georgia, Halfway Crooks will sell 99% of their beer at the taproom with very limited distribution for festivals and special events. Their brewing focus will be on barrel-aging, spontaneous brewing, saisons, and a variety of lower alcohol beers.
